Technologic Systems and RoHS Compliance

The Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS) 2002/95/EC Directive took effect in the European Union July 1, 2006. The directive controls the levels of the following six substances:

• Lead
• Mercury
• Cadmium
• Chromium VI
• PBB
• PBDE

The directive is not a law and individual EU member countries may have slightly different laws with regard to RoHS. The laws do not apply to every industry within the EU, so companies need to research how the directive applies to their industry and products.

Technologic Systems values our European customers. All of our newer products are RoHS compliant. Older products that are not specified RoHS compliant may still be available to meet the RoHS standard. Please contact us if the product you are interested in does not list RoHS as a feature.
