Technologic Systems and RoHS Compliance

The Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS) 2002/95/EC Directive took effect in the European Union July 1, 2006. The directive controls the levels of the following six substances:

• Lead
• Mercury
• Cadmium
• Chromium VI
• PBB
• PBDE

The directive is not a law and individual EU member countries may have slightly different laws with regard to RoHS. The laws do not apply to every industry within the EU, so companies need to research how the directive applies to their industry and products.

Technologic Systems values our European customers and is working to develop products that are RoHS compliant. Our newer products all have RoHS compliant builds as an option. Older products that do not list RoHS compliant builds may still be in development to meet the RoHS standard. Please contact us if the product you are interested in does not list RoHS as an option.

Please note that the RoHS option must be selected on your order to guarantee that your board is handled as RoHS throughout the production process.
