Technologic Systems ARM based
SBC's are ARM 9 architecture
relying on RISC (Reduced Instruction
Set Computer). These
rugged, low cost, low power
computers run without fans
in the operating range of -20° to +70°C (with
optional extended temp -40° to +85°C ). Low
board complexity, low component
count, and low power/heat makes
for an extremely reliable embedded
engine. The TS ARM products
were recently described in
an article by the Linux Journal
as "built like a brick
outhouse". The
PC/104 bus and connector
allow you to easily add features
to your project by stacking
feature specific peripherals.
Up to 128MB of flash provides
a low power file system capable
of storing a large amount
of data and software.
The standard operating system
on the TS-7200 series uses
Redboot to load TS-Linux. Our
SBC's come loaded with TS-Linux,
which is based on the 2.4 kernel. This
version of Linux includes an
Apache web server, ssh, ftp
and Telnet. NetBSD has
also been ported to the TS-7200. Both
JAVA and Win CE have been run
successfully.
