PC-Compatible Embedded Systems

Our x86 Single Board Computers (SBC) allow you to build embedded systems that are rugged, reliable and reasonably priced. All x86 based embedded PC's run without fans or heat sinks in the temperature range of -20° to +70°C (Optional Extended Temperature -40° to +80°C ). The TS-5000 series uses conventional (DOS or Linux) development tools, reducing risk and giving you a competitive edge in fast moving markets. The PC/104 expansion bus enables the addition of commercial-off-the-shelf or custom peripherals. You can select from our many options and peripherals to arrive at your own semi-customized embedded solution.

The TS-5000 series Single Board Computers are based on the 586 architecture. The 5 COTS boards take advantage of the AMD Elan 520 CPU running at 133MHz. These SBC's have 2 MB of flash standard and up to 64MB of RAM. Data interfaces include as many as 40 DIO lines, 4 serial ports utilizing RS-232, RS-485 Half or Full Duplex, and Optional Analog to Digital Converter. If the standard features of the TS-5000 series do not fully meet your requirements, the 8/16 bit PC/104 interface allows you to add functionality through Technologic Systems’ broad product line of PC/104 peripheral daughter boards. For example, the TS-ETH10 allows the addition of Ethernet ports. The TS-NVRAM provides 128KB of non-volatile SRAM. The TS-DIO boards add extra DIO pins.

The TS-3000 series Single Board Computers are Intel 386 based CPUs running at up to 33MHz. The TS-3000 SBC's have up to 8MB memory and 1MB of Flash. To interface to the outside world, these embedded hardware devices have 10mb Ethernet, as many as 40 Digital I/O lines, 2 Comm ports with optional 485 Half and Full Duplex. External data storage is available through Disk on Chip and Compact Flash. Analog to Digital Conversion is an option on the TS-3300. If the standard features are not enough, the 8/16 bit PC/104 interface provides for adding functionality through Technologic Systems’ broad product line of PC/104 peripheral daughter boards. For example, the TS-9500 adds video, keyboard and mouse. The TS-RF2-CF provides a compact flash card socket. The TS-MODEM boards add both wired and cell phone capabilities.
