This country girl hails from Rising Sun, Maryland, which is apropos because Laura is the shiny personality that greets you on the telephone. Yet that's just one of the hats she has worn over ten years with Technologic Systems. Her primary function is as Purchasing Manager, but you can find her covering shipping, receiving, sales quotes/entry, and many other positions including party organizer and chief bottle washer. After fifteen years with an electro-mechanical company in Newark, Delaware, she moved to Fountain Hills and started attending garage sales to meet people. Now it's her social time with friends and every once in awhile she finds a real treasure. Although she sorely misses her family and friends in Maryland, she loves Arizona and working for Technologic Systems.
Laid-back surfer boy? Not this born and raised Los Angeles, Californian. Bill thrives on challenges, especially cycling across mountains, roads and trails. Always upbeat, he enjoys Senor Taco (loves their bean burritos), growing friendships and reading. Drawn to the dynamic and technical nature of the Embedded Computing industry he said, "yes" when offered the Sales Manager position two years ago. Customers who have worked with Bill appreciate his warm and gracious demeanor, which is a perfect match to Technologic Systems' customer-centric team work culture. The diversity of our customers' applications and projects keeps him interested and very busy. If he's not going the extra mile for our customers, he is assisting co-workers. Personal satisfaction is gained when our solutions significantly contribute to our customer's success! His mantra... Teamwork! Teamwork!
Technology freak? Internet nut? Or perhaps an electronic entertainment extraordinaire. This Northern Californian left behind the drudge of retail work, landing in Arizona in search of that little piece of paper that would announce he was educated and ready to work. For over five years he has put his degree to work at Technologic Systems and loves working with their inventive technologies. To his enjoyment, there's always something new coming down the pipe. When he's through with work, his passion is video games, remote control cars/boats/airplanes, FPV quadcopters, drones, electronics, and robotics. Wherever wires and electricity exist you'll find Mike. By the way he's not crazy. His reality is just different from yours.
With red and purple streaks in her hair, this colorful Engineer was born in Frankfurt, Germany. As an army brat Eliza moved around, which may have contributed to her invariably calm and collected persona. Effortlessly she heads off potential crisis, though we sometimes wonder about the large collection of Hello Kitty toys around her desk. A three year veteran of Technologic Systems, she loves working for a company where her many talents are utilized. Making a positive impact each day is important to her. Engineering and arts are her two passions in life. There's nothing like loving your job and getting paid, too. After work she immerses herself in sewing animals and dolls for her niece and nephews or working with paper and fiber crafts. Success has been achieved when her projects come together into something new or she makes someone smile.
Originally from Milwaukee Wisconsin, Eddie moved to Arizona at the tender age of five. In 2001, while attending Arizona State University, he went in search of a summer job. Technologic Systems opened their doors to him under one condition – stay on after the summer. Sixteen years later he's our Manufacturing Engineering Manager and go-to guy for product history since he knows even the very old products. Eddie contributes his holistic view of the business to Technologic Systems and is thankful for all the opportunities that have come his way. If work wasn't enough, this dedicated father stays busy with a set of three year old twins and a five year old. Outside of family and work he loves to run. There's nothing more peaceful than a quiet morning when the sun is rising over the Superstitions and the birds are in song to get the heart beating.
Though Cindy's chief ambition is to one day answer the question, "Why are there crumbs in the silverware drawer?" she holds a B.S. in Business and frequently answers, "can we make this delivery date?" With a background in aerospace/semiconductor, she came on board in the summer of 2016 and immediately immersed herself in processing orders and any other sticky wicket that might arise. If this Arizona native's nose isn't buried deep in a book, you'll find her on a four-wheeler, or a jet ski, or being pulled behind a boat. As writing is a passion with many – it's an obsession with her. Who knew the wild things going on in her head someone would actually read? But they have made her an international award winning author. Still she swears her husband, three beautiful daughters and five devilishly handsome grandsons are her greatest accomplishments to date.
No grass grows beneath this seasoned traveler's feet. Born at an air force base hospital in Izmir, Turkey, Alan has visited forty-nine states and four continents. With his lovely wife and dog, he traveled the western USA in an RV, and then toured southeast Asia. Traveling goes hand-in-hand with his other hobbies of photography, painting, and cooking. In 2015 he made a stop in Arizona and Technologic Systems snatched him up as their Marketing Communications Manager. Located in Ohio, he enjoys the company's openness and collaborative team spirit coupled with the ability to be independent and find his own route, which usually leads him to trade shows across the country. It will be interesting to see how he adapts to life on the road with twin girls on the way and a three year old. Either way, watch out Hawaii, Alan's coming for you!
A small town proud Montana boy, born and raised, with a passion for programming and embedded systems. Derek has been working for Technologic Systems (in various capacities) since 2010 starting as an intern embedded engineer. Off the clock, he's an avid skier and backpacker who slays double black diamonds, conquers mountain peaks, and just generally loves life at 10,000 ft. He has climbed the second most difficult state highpoint, Granite Peak, and has visited hundreds of lakes in the Beartooth mountain range for which he keeps a log. What he loves most about his career at Technologic Systems is the extended family cultural feel and the opportunity to wear many hats as responsibilities change. His parting words: pray for snow!
We believe embedded should be easy and open. Engineers and decision makers like you contact Technologic Systems every day looking for a trustworthy partner who can help bring their projects to market.
