The TS-RF2-CF is a PC/104 Form-Factor Peripheral Board that provides one IDE Compact Flash card socket (CF card not included). This daughter board is compatible with any TS-7000 ARM9 SBC with a PC/104 bus.


The TS-RF2-CF provides an IDE Compact Flash card slot on a PC-104
peripheral board. It runs on any Technologic Systems ARM9 product with PC/104
bus. However, it won't run on any other PC/104 systems including our
TS-5000 and TS-3000 series products, because it requires a 16-bit data path.

Jumpers are used to select IRQ lines and one of the 4 I/O address regions
available. Since the IRQ lines can be shared, up to 4 boards can run on a
single assembly. This daughter card is built RoHS compliant by default and
the form-factor is the standard PC/104 format

Hot-swapping is supported with the use of the provided kernel modules.


Technologic Systems provides Linux Kernel drivers/modules for the TS-RF2-CF. The Linux Drivers support up to 4 TS-RF2-CF boards plugged on a single systems, handling up to 4 Compact Flash Cards at a time. Hot-swapping of CF cards is supported , meaning that a CF card can be connected/disconnected following the re-loading of the proper Linux drivers without requiring OS re-starting or a new power cycle.

Product Customization

Technologic Systems can provide you with a custom tailored version of our standard product starting at minimum order sizes of 100 units or more. Customized products can be based on various combinations of many of the standard product features. There will be a one-time customization fee to cover the set up of your custom part number and production processes. Once the set up is complete the standard lead time for your customized product would be 6-8 weeks. Please contact us to get started on tailoring this product to meet your needs. In addition to tailoring our standard product to your needs, for slightly larger orders sizes, Technologic Systems can also provide a custom design based on this product to meet your mechanical requirements or to add features.
